Simple Easter Mantel

Those of you who have been to my house are probably thinking “Mantel?  What mantel?”  Ok, so I don’t really have a mantel.  But I like to decorate the long, narrow table in my living room as if it were a mantel.  You’ll just have to humor me. 🙂

I didn’t go too crazy with Easter decorations this year but I did put out a few things.  In case you are in need of a little inspiration for your own home; I decided to share some pictures.

I found these two rabbits at Hobby Lobby a few years back.  They are 3-d wire sculptures with brown raffia wrapped around the outside.  They remind me of something that you would see in an artist’s sketchbook and I love that they are so simple.

This ceramic egg crate is from Williams-Sonoma.  It is probably not something I would have bought for myself but when I happened to mention to Stephen that I liked it he bought it for me!  I’ve had those ceramic eggs for several years and don’t remember where they came from.  Aren’t those pastel colors so pretty?

Perhaps my favorite aspect of this display is the variety of textures.  The tree slice is a new addition this year and I think it make is look more natural.  You feel like you are walking through a forest, right?!

If you are looking for some more Easter decorations you can check out my tablescape from last year here.  In that post I included some free mini bunting printables (both “He is Risen” and “Happy Easter”) as well as free place card flag printables.
