At the beginning of each week I try to sit down and plan out my menu before going grocery shopping. This is a task I loath so usually my menu is just a hastily scribbled list of main dishes on the back of my grocery shopping list. Half the time I don’t bother to dig that list back out of my purse when I get home from the store so I just wing it from one night to the next based on my faint memory of the menu plan.
This year I want to step up my game in the menu planning arena. I would like to start planning out my side dishes rather than just scrounging around for whatever vegetables I have on hand. I also need to have a list of healthy snacks when those afternoon munchies attack and all I can think of is sugar. Plus I wanted something fun to write my menu on!
So I came up with this handy, dandy printable! I printed off my menu planner and slipped it into a sheet protector. I cut off the part of the sheet protector with the holes that clip into a three ring binder and then mounted it on my refrigerator with sticky tack. Now I can write on the sheet protector with a dry erase marker and then wipe it off and the end of the week to start over.
If you happen to have advanced menu planning skills I think there is plenty of room for you to write out your breakfast, lunch and dinner plans in the square for each day.
