I don’t know about you, but I love Pinterest and use it everyday to collect ideas and inspiration. From time to time I would like to share some projects with you that I made using tutorials found on Pinterest.
Today’s Pinterest project is this adorable ear flap hat that I made using the instructions on Delia’s site Delia Creates.
Not only does she provide a free printable pattern for a toddler size hat but she also gives instructions on how to re-size the pattern for a custom fit. Using Delia’s easy to follow instructions I made a matching toddler hat for Henry and an adult hat for Stephen.
For Henry I usually fold the ear flaps down and tie the strings under his chin to keep his ears and neck nice and warm.
Stephen usually ties the flaps up on top of his head since he tends to get too hot while working.

Let’s get together!
I’ll be linking up to some of these amazing site listed here.
I made the hat too for our grandson. I used veggie tale fleece as I had it on hand. I don’t see the measurements for making other sizes though.

I bet your grandson looked handsome in his hat! In Delia’s post she links to this older post where she explains how to adjust the measurements. http://www.deliacreates.com/lumber-jack-hat/
