It is still February so it’s not too late to share a few Valentine’s day pictures with you, right?
I had started a tradition of dressing Henry up and taking pictures of him on Valentine’s day so of course I had to continue that tradition this year.
The bouquet of flowers that Henry is holding is my bouquet from our wedding. When I made the decision to use artificial flowers I was only thinking about saving money. I never thought I would use them to take pictures with my future children!
Oddly enough, Henry cooperated with my picture taking antics and Lily did not. She did not want to sleep nor did she want to look at the camera. She mostly cried because she wanted to be held. Oh well, maybe next year I’ll get a picture of the two of them together.
If you want, you can go back and see Henry’s past Valentine’s day pictures here: 2013 // 2014.
We didn’t do much for Valentine’s day this year but Henry and I did manage to squeeze in a little art project. I pinched a toilet paper roll to make it into a heart shape and then taped the roll to hold it’s shape. Henry dipped the end of the toilet paper roll into paint and stamped it onto paper. Once the paint dried, a wrote a little message on the paper and Henry presented his Valentine’s day card to his Dad. He was so proud to show off his artwork!
I hope that you all had a special Valentine’s day with your sweethearts!
Let’s get together!
