The scripture reading in church on Sunday was from Colossians. Paul was writing to his brothers and sisters in Christ and this is part of what he said.
“…we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father… ” Colossians 1:9b-12a
I was reminded of my selfishness in my prayers. So often I focus on my needs and my desires. I really should work on remembering others. It is easy to pray for their physical needs but it is more important to pray for their spiritual needs.
Now here are a few pictures from our peaceful Sunday afternoon.
