I did a little brainstorming session to come up with a list of fun new activities for my ten month old and decided to share them with you over the next month in a series called 20 Days of Playing With Baby. None of these ideas are Earth shattering, supper cool, never been done before activities but maybe you haven’t tried them before or maybe they will help spark a fun new activity of your own.

For this activity I used:
- Plastic bin
- Water
- Sheets of foam
- Scissors
- Toys that will float
- Towel
I filled a long, shallow plastic bin with water and put in some plastic rings and balls that would float on the water. I also cut shapes out of different colored sheets of foam and added them to the bin.
Since the foam shapes were something new Henry spent a lot of time exploring them.
And of course there was lot of splashing in the water.
Henry also took on the task of removing all of the toys from the bin.
Then the inevitable happened and Henry decided to get in the bin. I was glad that I had a towel nearby!
In case you missed it, you can check out the previous days here: Rice Sensory Bin {Day 1} Easy Puzzle {Day 2} Kitchen Crinkle {Day 3} Car Ramp {Day 4} Cotton Ball Squish {Day 5}
This activity is great for developing your child’s: fine motor skills, sense of touch, and curiosity.
