I did a little brainstorming session to come up with a list of fun new activities for my ten month old and decided to share them with you over the next month in a series called 20 Days of Playing With Baby. None of these ideas are Earth shattering, supper cool, never been done before activities but maybe you haven’t tried them before or maybe they will help spark a fun new activity of your own.

For this activity I used:
- 4 c. Flour
- 1/2 c. Vegetable oil
- Large bowl
Cloud dough is light and fluffy and velvety soft. It can be squished into a ball and then crumbles up again. I had seen some recipes for cloud dough that call for baby oil but I opted for vegetable oil since there was a good chance Henry would try to eat it. Simply mix the flour and oil together and then prepare to get messy!
Henry liked to drop the dough on his bare legs.
And was intrigued by the clumps of cloud dough he was able to grab in his fist.
But mostly he thought it was fun to fling it out of the bowl and all over the floor.
In case you missed it, you can check out the previous days here: Rice Sensory Bin {Day 1} Easy Puzzle {Day 2} Kitchen Crinkle {Day 3} Car Ramp {Day 4} Cotton Ball Squish {Day 5} Water Sensory Bin {Day6} Obstacle Course {Day 7} Pom Pom Drop {Day 8} Exploring Sticky {Day 9}
This activity is great for developing your child’s: fine motor skills, sense of touch and curiosity.
Hi Thanks for all the great ideas. I notice that your son is wearing flip cloth diaper. I use the same but I have to put him in regular diaper for naps and night because I had a lot of leak problems. Is it tha same for you. Sorry it had nothing to do with babies activities but I don’t know anybody that use cloth diaper.
