Basket Of Balls {Playing With Baby, Day 12}

I did a little brainstorming session to come up with a list of fun new activities for my ten month old and decided to share them with you over the next month in a series called 20 Days of Playing With Baby.  None of these ideas are Earth shattering, supper cool, never been done before activities but maybe you haven’t tried them before or maybe they will help spark a fun new activity of your own.

Basket Of Balls {Playing With Baby, Day 12} -

For this activity I used:

  • Basket
  • Assortment of balls

Henry always has a lot of fun playing with a ball so I decided to gather up all of the various balls and throw them in a basket.  We have a variety of colors, sizes, textures and even a little variety of shapes (when I included the football). Basket Of Balls {Playing With Baby, Day 12} -

At first he took each ball out and explored them.Basket Of Balls {Playing With Baby, Day 12} -

The football was his favorite.  Maybe because it was squishy foam or maybe because it was wobbly when it rolled.Basket Of Balls {Playing With Baby, Day 12} -

After he was done exploring we spent some time together throwing, rolling and bouncing the balls.
