Pile Of Worms {Playing With Baby, Day 19}

I did a little brainstorming session to come up with a list of fun new activities for my ten month old and decided to share them with you over the next month in a series called 20 Days of Playing With Baby.  None of these ideas are Earth shattering, supper cool, never been done before activities but maybe you haven’t tried them before or maybe they will help spark a fun new activity of your own.

For this activity I used:

  • Spaghetti noodles
  • Food coloring

We are back to playing with food today!  For these slimy “worms” I simply cooked up some spaghetti noodles.  Then to add a little color I stirred in a few drops of food coloring after draining the water from the noodles.

Henry thought it was great fun to grab a fistful of noodles….Pile Of Worms {Playing With Baby, Day 19} - finddailyjoy.com

…and fling them all over the floor.Pile Of Worms {Playing With Baby, Day 19} - finddailyjoy.com

By the way, when you do this be sure to put down a drop cloth to catch the noodles.  Picking up lots of sticky noodles by hand can be tedious!
